Rafael Oliveira has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the
University of Sao Paulo and is currently pursuing his PhD in the applied
mathematics department of the University of Bremen. He is currently a
research engineer at the Airbus Group Innovations research center in
Ottobrunn, where he focuses on flight operations and applied trajectory
optimization. He is also involved in the CleanSky European research project,
being responsible for the AGI’s research on the topic of environmentally
optimized on-board trajectory generation.
